Hostel

Hostel facilities for boys and girls separately are available. It is compulsory for the girls students in the hostel. It is also compulsory for the girl hostilities to avail the mess facility. The constant presence of student-friendly wardens for guidance and counseling is a source of comfort and encouragement to students who are away from parental guidance and support system. Students from all over India, sharing rooms and other amenities with each other, help promote a feeling of unity and a sense of national integration.

Our classrooms seats up to 60 and is quite spacious, well ventilated with overhead projectors, flip charts and comfortable seating arrangements, ideally suited for high-caliber academic work

Clinical Lab

Clinical Lab

The clinical laboratory is fully equipped to conduct several biochemical, hematological and microbiological investigations. The anatomy and physiology lab is well equipped with sufficient modes, arts, specimens and all other equipments.  The Nursing Arts lab is fledged with Dummies, Models, Charts and all equipments needed for the students learning. The community and Nutrition labs are also well equipped with all facilities.

The computer lab is spacious and well-planned with the latest hi-tech configuration of hardware and software to support the entire academic and additional programme according to the curricula. Computer lab facility is available from 8:30 hours to 17:30 hours.

Library

Library

The Institute has an extensive library with comprehensive collection of literature on all subjects to meet with the latest information needs. The college library provides a dedicated course collection as prescribed by the university. In view of the Hard Work and Effort expected to be put in by the students of the programme, provision has been made to have a well equipped college library resources. The books can be checked out for a period of 2 weeks.

Each person has the right to participate in making decisions which will affect health and to accept or refuse health care within the context of safety to society.

The faculty view ENVIROMENT as well external influences affecting life and development of the person. The health of the Individuals, families and communities is affected by these influences.

HEALTH is viewed as a dynamic state arising from continuous change in the person and the environment. The faculty view the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health as complex phenomena involving the joint responsibility of the person and the health care providers.

NURSING is the diagnosis and treatment of actual or potential health problems. Nursing involves supportive and therapeutic Interventions based on theoretical and scientific knowledge. The goal of nursing is to promote health through out the life span, prevent illness, restore and / or maintain with dignity essential life functions altered by illness. As health care professionals nurses expert leadership to achieve a viable system of health care delivery and assure quality nursing care. The nurse’s role is that of health care provider who both Independently and in collaboration with other assesses.

Nursing is a synthesis of art and science. The art of nursing requires that the practitioner apply knowledge gained from the humanities, art, and science to understand human needs. This knowledge provides the foundation for the acceptance and appreciation of the values of the person which may differ from those of the nurse. The science of nursing is the contemplation, exploration, and research of the person, environment and health.

EDUCATION for professional nursing practice includes sound theoretical, knowledge base to support experimental leaning. Faculty believe the education process facilitates continuing personal and professional growth in which the responsibility for outcomes is mutually shared by students and faculty. The intent of educational programs is to focus on the learner. Education is a lifelong process, with the commitment of the learner to establish patterns of continued inquiry.
